Please join other Rockmont Alumni in building a bridge. It is not a real bridge, but just as important. This bridge will help countless economically disadvantaged boys make it to the other side. Gifts given to the Camp Diversity Foundation (CDF) are fully tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes.
You know the value of a session at Rockmont and experiencing Christian community. It is why, for years now, Alumni have wanted to see the gates of Rockmont open to a more economically depressed population.
The CRAA (Camp Rockmont Alumni Association), through the Camp Diversity Foundation (CDF), has now made this happen. Since 2008, "Adventure Week" at Rockmont has been life changing for boys who could not otherwise attend.
Please give a tax deductible gift to help us with this bridge. Consider a Giving Tree gift as well as becoming a HAYMaker. Help us to get "the least of these" to Rockmont!
The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:40
want to say Thank-You for allowing my son to attend your camp. This was Simeon's first experience with overnight camp and also his first experience of being around all males. He is raised primarily by women and sometimes I worry that he will not have enough male influence in his life as he grows up. The day I picked Simeon up, he was a changed boy. He seemed so much more confident, so full of pride and happiness. He talks about all the different activities and things that he learned. He sings the songs that were sung at camp, and he tells me he wishes he could go again next year. My heart really goes out to all those who sponsored Simeon and I really want them to know how much it means to me and my son from the bottom of our hearts that they chose to donate. May you continue to bless many other children and families."

Donations honor “King” Henry Taylor (1933-2019). King was invaluable in advancing the mission of Camp Rockmont from its inception in 1956. Even during a career that included 23 years in the US Air Force and Director of the Institute of Aviation at the University of Illinois, King always made time for Rockmont. After retiring in 2001, King and his wife, Mur, moved to Rockmont and helped establish the Camp Rockmont Alumni Association (CRAA) and the Camp Diversity Foundation (CDF).
His efforts have helped nearly 1,000 economically disadvantaged young men attend Rockmont. Please visit his obituary for more details of his life. Help honor this Rockmont legend through a one-time gift or an annual “subscription” to the CDF.

Ritchie Miller served on the Rockmont staff from 1998-2004. On Friday, May 12th, Ritchie unexpectedly died in Washington, D.C. at the young age of 41 and we are broken-hearted about his passing. Ritchie first worked as a Counselor and then served as a Tribal Director before becoming the Bear Camp Director. He spent his last summer at camp on the A-Team. Ritchie had a wonderful combination of humility, compassion, humor, leadership, and charisma and he was beloved at Rockmont. He was a loyal friend and will be remembered for his infectious smile and loveable nature.
Please help honor Ritchie's memory by donating a one-time gift or a yearly gift to the Camp Diversity Foundation. Please take some time to view the Memorial and Slideshow for Ritchie.
