Camp Diversity Foundation

Contributions

The Camp Diversity Foundation was established to provide an opportunity for economically disadvantaged boys to experience Christian community in a traditional camp atmosphere.

The Foundation believes that a summer camping experience can provide the opportunity for a young man to develop and strengthen Christian values. Appropriately structured challenges can impact personal growth, build self-esteem, self-respect, self-confidence and self-reliance.

Learning to live in Christian community, especially within a traditional resident camp setting and under the mentoring of Christian leadership, can have a profound and lasting effect on a young man.

The targeted age group is 10-12 years of age. Boys from families whose income does not exceed 175% of the federal poverty level will be considered. The week of camp will be funded by tax deductible contributions from individuals, foundations, youth groups and church organizations. The goal is to provide a camp experience for 100-150 boys each summer.

The Camp Diversity Foundation invites you to share the rewards of camp with well deserving young men. Your contributions are tax-deductible. A list of suggested amounts is included.
